This ceiling-mounted subwoofer comes equipped with an 8-inch woofer that delivers excellent sound throughout its 45Hz-120Hz frequency response. The woofer and specially designed enclosure work harmoniously to achieve maximum efficiency and deeper bass response. It also has an internal 3-pole highpass filtering network to ensure no high frequencies exit the woofer. There’s also a low-saturation transformer onboard that matches and balances the subwoofer’s response with the other full-range speakers in your space without requiring separate amplification. Finally, the FAPSUB-1 comes with a front-mounted tap selector, so you can change the tap without having to take the speaker out of the ceiling.
